Volunteering with my local Kin Canada club has been a great way for me to develop new skills that will help prepare me for the workplace after graduating high school. It is a lot of fun to work on different projects and try new things in a supportive environment.

It’s very important to me to give back to my community and I love that Kin offers flexible volunteer opportunities. I help out when it works best with my family’s schedule. It’s great that I can bring my children to the many events too – they love helping out too!

After retiring, I was seeking new ways to meet like-minded people in my community. I also wanted to use my knowledge and skills in impactful and meaningful ways. Volunteering with my local Kin Canada club has been a lot of fun and I enjoy that I’m helping others in my community!
