If you answered yes to the question above, please explain: |
|
How was this project promoted in your community? |
I approached the schools & asked if they were interested in a bench. I dealt with our Parks & Rec. Dept. to give me names of suppliers, help ask questions & they helped with delivery. |
What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? |
It was hard because I couldn't see the bench. At first I checked recycle material but realized it could get damaged more than metal. It had to have arms for special needs children to use it. |
What was the approximate budget for this project? |
$1,000-$5,000 |
If the project was a fundraiser, what were the sources of revenue for this project? |
Money came from our HomeTour acct. |
If this was a fundraiser, how much money was raised (minus expenses)? |
Not Applicable |
What were the expenses for this project? |
$4271.00 |
Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? |
The benches were more than I expected. The schools just loved them. They were very sturdy. I ordered green & medium blue. We had the words Buddy Bench lasered in on the back & we had plaques made up to say we had donated them. The schools were going to chain them to a tree so no one could take them. |
