Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? | We have done this project several times this year and it is surprising you learn something new each time. As a group we have been able to be in various locations from sorting of the donations to distribution of the completed hampers. The younger members we have brought out to our visits have now taken the project to their local schools and have done presentation to the student body just how big the need is in our community. Just this one school is now collecting food items and donations. Keep in mind cash donations receive a tax receipt so is has become very popular. |
