| Description of project | The London Kin have been partnered with P38 / Sleeger’s for a number of years. We have been providing a Pancake breakfast for staff and their families as part of Sleegers Christmas company event for the past 4 years. The London Kinsmen and Kinette’s work together to provide a BBQ pancake and sausage breakfast. The Kin cook outside and deliver freshly cooked pancakes and sausages to the Kinette’s who serve fresh coffee and hot chocolate as well as the hot fresh food. This is a big event and takes a large number of preparation hours. Besides prepping all the supplies, BBQ’s and loading large trailer, we need to install the hot chocolate machine into their sink system. The breakfast requires us to set up the night before by dropping trailer off the day before and setting up the tables and drink systems the day before. Then the day of we need to arrive by 7:30 so we can have the sausages cooked and ready by 9am. The event ran from 9 to 11am. Like many of our bigger projects, this one involves a lot of preparation before and a lot of clean up after the event. These two areas of our efforts remain one our biggest time commitment road blocks. We continue to strive to make our before and after preparations and clean up easier. |

| How was this project promoted in your community? | This is private event. We discussed their company sponsoring our horses at our annual SB event. |
| What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? | The company was picky about our past coffee, so this year though they wanted our cooking services they didn't want our coffee so we needed to source that out at added work. They still paid for the extra, but it was an added expense. |
