Description of project |
We hired a local artist to do a paint night. We sold tickets in advance so she knew how many people were coming, with a maximum of 50. She had all of the supplies and was great to teach everyone there. We had a 50/50 draw and break with light refreshments. The funds we raised we donated to Cystic Fibrosis. |

How was this project promoted in your community? |
We used social media and posters at local businesses to promote this project. |

At first we were the only ones doing the paint events but they have become quite popular. Now every one seems to be having them so it's hard to have a painting that interests enough people. |

If the project was a fundraiser, what were the sources of revenue for this project? |
Sold tickets, 50/50 and had light refreshments by donation ($500-$600 profit) |
If this was a fundraiser, how much money was raised (minus expenses)? |
$0-$1,000 |
What were the expenses for this project? |
The cost of renting a building (very low cost), light refreshments and drinks. |
