One of the girls in our club had the idea and we just all jumped on board as a great idea. We chose 2 seniors homes in the Interlake region, I called and asked for a list of men and women ( we did not require names) and then 2 of our members purchased the items/ gifts within our community and those same 2 members who knit for Project Linus (make donated blankets to hospitals, ambulances, etc) donated blankets and we had a wrapping party and fellowship at a members home one evening. Then 2 of our members delivered the bags. Happy Seniors ?Š This year the flower shop is donating the gift bags |

$110.00. We were fortunate to find many sales in town. Blankets were donated. One home only requested blankets. |

Start early enough to allow time for shopping for the harder to find items/ sizes. Shop with seniors in mind. Not so much fashion as Comfort and Warmth. ?Š Stretchy socks, warm button up sweaters etc. and warm colourful robes |
