Description of project | On St. Patrick's Day we host a bash/dance with Beef n Barley soup. Tickets sell for $25.00 a couple. We decorate the hall in green. A local DJ plays popular Irish music periodically throughout the evening along with popular dance songs. The crowd dresses in costume and party all evening. |

How was this project promoted in your community? | We utilized all social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We posted the event in Kijiji and on local signs. Radio stations blasted out the event. |
What were some challenges you faced with this project, and how could your project be improved? | We sold out the first couple of years. The last couple we had about 15 left over. We realized that we need to promote it more locally. |

Is there anything else you would like to share that would assist another club in duplicating this project in their community? | Our local dollar store has now increased their stock of St Patrick's Day items. It's an easy event to put on. |
